أَثُمَّ إِذَا مَا وَقَعَ ءَامَنتُم بِهِۦٓ ۚ ءَآلْـَٔـٰنَءَآلَْٰٔنَ وَقَدْ كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
«Est-ce au moment où le châtiment se produira que vous croirez? [Il vous sera dit: «Inutile».] Maintenant! Autrefois, vous en réclamiez [ironiquement] la prompte arrivée!»
